Is WME-FP Exam 1 mostly math?

No. It’s mostly vocabulary, process, and recognition. But you should be comfortable with basic planning math (TVM, payments, returns/yield) and the key terms used in questions.

How should I practice?

Do timed multiple-choice drills by weighting and write “why the distractor is wrong” notes from your misses.

What’s the difference between WME-FP Exam 1 and Exam 2?

Exam 1 is shortened standalone multiple-choice (60 questions in 1.5 hours) and excludes “Financial Planning” questions. Exam 2 is case-based multiple-choice and covers the full WME course. If you’re preparing for Exam 2, use WME-FP Exam 2.
