COF-C02 FAQ — Format, Prereqs, and Study Strategy

What is the exam format?

SnowPro Core (COF-C02) is a 100-question exam with a 115-minute time limit. Questions include multiple-choice, multiple-select, and interactive items.

Are there prerequisites?

No formal prerequisites are required, but hands-on familiarity with Snowflake basics (warehouses, RBAC, loading, and core SQL) is strongly recommended.

What domains are covered?

COF-C02 focuses on six domains: platform architecture, access/security, performance/cost, loading/unloading, transformations, and data protection/sharing. See the full Syllabus for objective-level detail.

What score do I need to pass?

The published passing score is 750 on a 0–1000 scaled score.

What’s the most efficient way to study?

1. Start with the Overview to understand domain weights and expectations.
2. Work the Syllabus domain-by-domain and drill after each section.
3. Keep the Cheatsheet open while practicing.
4. Finish with timed mixed mocks to build pacing.
