Ontario Building Code 2024 - Small Buildings Exam Prep

The Small Buildings 2024 exam is a core, high-volume BCIN path for residential and light-commercial candidates. It is built mainly around Part 9, but strong candidates also know when the syllabus pulls them into Parts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, and 12 plus the named supplementary standards.

Humber’s registration site says Ontario Building Code exams move to the 2024 Building Code on March 30, 2026. If your sitting is before that date, confirm the exact code cycle tied to your booking. If your sitting is on or after March 30, 2026, use the 2024 syllabus and current Humber rules.
