Kafka Platform Technical References: Red Hat Streams and OpenShift
Use primary documentation for Streams 3.2, OpenShift 4.20, Quarkus 3.27 and Kafka 4.2 while reviewing platform practice.
These primary references support the documented practice scope. Tokenizer publishes independent learning material; these links do not imply vendor endorsement or an official exam blueprint.
| Reference | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Red Hat Streams 3.2 documentation | Release notes, supported configurations, operator procedures, security and deployment management. |
| OpenShift 4.20 documentation | Storage, networking, operators, RBAC and cluster administration. |
| Red Hat build of Quarkus 3.27 documentation | Supported extensions, BOM-managed dependencies and application configuration. |
| Apache Kafka 4.2 documentation | Versioned client and Streams behavior; distinguish upstream capability from distribution support. |
| Strimzi 0.51 documentation | Upstream operator resource and reconciliation details; use Red Hat guidance for supported production procedures. |
| Kubernetes server-side apply | Field ownership, conflicts and API permissions. |
Check the exact version
Broker, operator, client and application-framework versions are separate choices. An upstream feature or successful interoperability test does not establish a supported product combination. Registry implementations also have their own compatibility rules and APIs; follow the implementation identified in each scenario.
The historical EX482 assessment is not this learning track. Use current product documentation for the skills you want to practise rather than treating a retired assessment as an active credential.
