Official assessment and required course

Full nameAI Fluency for Product Team Members I
Questions40 multiple-choice questions
Time60 minutes
Passing score85%
LanguageEnglish
Course requirementAssociated Scrum.org self-paced course required; completion provides an assessment passcode

The credential-specific assessment page and course page control this requirement. Generic information about taking other Scrum.org assessments without a course does not override it. Independent practice does not complete the course or provide the official passcode, assessment access or certification.

The public set uses the documented question count and time allowance for pacing. Four-option single-select construction is our editorial practice format. Exact official single/multiple-answer proportions and a scored/unscored split have not been established; our practice does not reproduce the official assessment or validate a prediction of passing.

Four areas of product-team practice

Assessment categoryUseful work
AI FoundationsRecognise capabilities and limits, choose appropriate tasks and preserve empirical learning
AI Prompting & IterationSupply relevant context and improve direction from observed shortcomings
AI Quality & ConfidenceCheck fitness, evidence, sources and the consequences of relying on an output
AI AccountabilityRetain human ownership, respect stated data rules and develop responsible team habits

Equal 25% allocation is editorial; Scrum.org has not published category weights. Work can connect several areas while retaining a clear decision and sufficient case facts.

Journey Map and source boundaries

The public course addresses Level 1 of the AI Fluency Journey Map through Understanding, Direction, Evaluation and Responsibility. These are fluency lenses, not four new Scrum accountabilities. This bank does not import advanced Journey Map levels, another provider’s AI taxonomy or separate PSM-AI, PSPO-AI or SAFe assessment scope.

The course mentions three failure modes and a five-element Direction template without publishing their exact labels. Practice diagnoses observable errors and uses useful prompting dimensions without reconstructing those private lists. Developmental readiness cues support a conversation, not an invented scoring rubric or permission to remove human review. Complete private-course fidelity is not claimed.

Access on web and mobile

A PM Mastery subscription or access pass includes this bank and the other PM Mastery banks for its access period. It does not unlock the separate Finance Prep or IT Mastery applications. The public pages and questions remain free to read.
