PMI CSPP No-Prior-Certification Path Practice Test
Prepare for the 145-question PMI CSPP path for candidates without a qualifying prior certification, including sustainability practice and Project Management Considerations.
Use this page if you are preparing for PMI’s longer CSPP pathway for candidates who do not hold a qualifying project-management certification or degree. PM Mastery provides original practice questions, timed mock exams, focused domain drills, explanations, and progress tracking across web and mobile.
This route is different from the shorter CSPP Certified Practitioner path . Both paths cover sustainable project work, PRiSM, P5, sustainability planning, and ESG reporting. The no-prior-certification path also tests Project Management Considerations and uses a longer exam format.
The public preview pages and PM Mastery app use original PM Mastery practice questions. They are not official PMI questions, copied live-exam content, or exam dumps.
Practice preview and focused pages
Start with the focused domain pages when you need to isolate a weak area. Use the full-length public practice page as a diagnostic, then continue in PM Mastery for varied timed attempts and progress history.
- Six focused domain pages: sustainability foundations, PRiSM, P5, the Sustainability Management Plan, ESG reporting and governance, and Project Management Considerations.
- Quick review and reference: compact decision rules, framework distinctions, artifacts, formulas, and common traps.
- Free practice exam: 145 original questions distributed across the six published domains.
- Interactive PM Mastery practice: mixed sets, topic drills, explanations, attempt history, and timed mocks from the 1,490-question bank.

What changes on the no-prior path
The first five domains share the same sustainable-project foundation as the practitioner path. The additional domain checks whether you can apply that foundation through normal project work without assuming prior PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent preparation.
| Project-management area | What to be ready to do |
|---|---|
| Value management | Identify value drivers, compare genuinely different alternatives, and connect sustainable outcomes to project value. |
| Change control | Assess impacts, use the appropriate decision authority, and keep approved sustainability commitments consistent across project artifacts. |
| Sustainable project success | Distinguish completed outputs and delivery measures from realized People, Planet, and Prosperity outcomes. |
| Project artifacts | Use requirements, breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, risk and issue records, procurement plans, and change records for their intended purpose. |
| Project phases | Place sustainability work appropriately in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, closing, transition, and handoff. |
Choose the correct CSPP route
| Your situation | Recommended page |
|---|---|
| You do not hold a qualifying project-management certification or qualifying master’s degree | Stay on this CSPP No-Prior-Certification Path page. |
| You hold a qualifying active certification or qualifying master’s degree | Use the shorter CSPP Certified Practitioner path . |
| You are still scheduled for the older GPM-b route | Verify the appointment with PMI, then use GPM-b practice if that is the exam named in your booking. |
Do not choose a route only by preferred exam length. PMI determines eligibility, and the two paths use different blueprints.
Decision patterns to practice
Strong answers usually do more than repeat sustainability terminology. They connect evidence to an actionable project decision.
| Scenario signal | Strong response pattern |
|---|---|
| A broad sustainability aspiration | Convert it into an objective, measure, owner, threshold, and relevant project action. |
| A People, Planet, and Prosperity trade-off | Compare material impacts and document a balanced, governable decision. |
| New P5 impact evidence | Reassess the affected plan, risk, requirement, procurement choice, or benefit rather than merely updating a report. |
| A proposed project change | Analyze value and sustainability impacts, follow change control, then update linked artifacts after approval. |
| A favorable KPI with weak evidence | Validate the baseline, boundary, data quality, and reporting limitations before claiming success. |
| Delivery is complete but benefits are not proven | Confirm transition ownership, measurement timing, and long-term outcome tracking. |
