Current practice
Finance Prep’s Series V-D practice covers mutual-fund distribution, equity derivatives and interest-rate derivatives under the July 2026 NISM outline . Questions use one best answer, with teaching and explanations for every choice. The 150-question public practice exam provides a fixed free set.
Release history
Question bank first released: October 15, 2026.
Dated improvements
October 15, 2026 — Series V-D practice is available
Added 300 original questions, bringing the available Series V-D bank to 300. No earlier questions were replaced or removed. The practice covers all three modules through client and product decisions, document interpretation, fund calculations, derivative cash flows, hedging and rate sensitivity.
Every question and answer rationale received editorial review before release. The review checked calculations, units, current regulatory boundaries and explanation consistency. The public set and study utilities help you review errors, recall key distinctions and plan further practice.
Series V-D is a distinct official certification route from Series V-A. Finance Prep’s existing V-A practice and learner history remain separate. The bank is live and will continue to expand or refine with learner usage, feedback and syllabus updates.
Editorial review does not establish official difficulty equivalence or predict passing. NISM’s official negative marking is separate from Finance Prep’s practice scoring; use practice-score guidance when reviewing results.
