Microsoft DP-100 Replacement Status

DP-100 is the older Microsoft Azure Data Scientist Associate route for designing and implementing data science solutions on Azure. Microsoft Learn retirement materials point learners from DP-100 training toward AI-300, the newer Machine Learning Operations and GenAIOps route.

This route has been replaced or renamed. Use this page to choose the current equivalent and avoid starting the wrong Microsoft AI operations path.

Why the route changed

The newer route is less about only building models and more about operating AI systems. AI-300 covers MLOps infrastructure, traditional model lifecycle controls, GenAIOps infrastructure, evaluation, observability, retrieval optimization, and production performance.
