HKSI LE Paper 1 Study Plan
Use a four-week HKSI LE Paper 1 plan built around Study Guide version 3.5, nine syllabus topics, unseen practice, error analysis, and timed mixed sets.
Start with one unseen diagnostic
Take a mixed set before reviewing notes. For every miss, record:
- the actor or institution whose authority controlled;
- the regulated activity, process, or document involved;
- the fact that separated the best option from the distractors;
- the official source or syllabus topic to revisit.
This produces a decision-focused error log rather than a list of memorised answer letters.
Four-week plan

Daily session pattern
- 10 minutes: recall yesterday’s actor, authority, and process distinctions without notes.
- 25 minutes: study one compact section in the current official material.
- 25 minutes: answer unseen questions from that topic.
- 10 minutes: review explanations and update the error log.
Add one mixed session each week. Focused drills build precision; mixed retrieval proves that you can identify the governing topic before applying the rule.

Use varied mixed attempts to identify weak topics, correct guesses and answers you recognize. A practice percentage is not a validated prediction of passing; compare your work with the current official outline and use the study and review guidance to plan the next step.
