Release history

Current practice bank initially released: October 2, 2026. The current GARP Risk and AI practice bank was released with 1,600 questions; the earlier 480-question bank was preserved.

This date belongs to the practice bank described here; it is not the certification provider’s exam-launch date or necessarily the first version of our practice for this exam.

Current practice

Finance Prep’s current Risk and AI practice follows GARP’s five-module 2026 scope: AI foundations, tools and techniques, risks, responsible and ethical AI, and governance. Use GARP’s current study materials as the authority for your exam preparation.

The app combines single-answer questions with additional Select TWO exercises for learning. Selected questions use diagrams, metric tables and case evidence. GARP’s official exam has 80 equally weighted MCQs and a four-hour allowance; the practice mix does not claim to reproduce every official question format.

October 2, 2026 — Reviewed Risk and AI practice

• Published a separate 1,600-question practice bank across all five modules: 1,200 single-answer questions and 400 Select TWO exercises. An active Finance Prep subscription or access pass includes this bank and the other Finance Prep banks during its access period.
• Added applied work with model evidence, changing conditions, competing constraints, diagnosis and risk decisions. Thirty-one diagrams illustrate useful relationships and workflows.
• Reviewed stems, answer options, grading and explanations. Targeted corrections clarified population comparisons, decision authority, scope restrictions, time boundaries and the evidence needed for a conclusion.
• Refreshed the 80-question public practice exam with single-answer questions from the current bank and an explanation for every option.
• Preserved the earlier 480-question bank and existing learner history. The current page opens the reviewed bank; the two bank totals are separate. This is a Finance Prep practice-bank revision, not a new official GARP exam version.

Interpreting practice results

Editorial checks support clear assumptions, defensible answers and useful explanations. They do not establish equivalence to official exam difficulty or validate a passing prediction. Review mistakes and correct guesses, use varied questions, and compare your preparation with GARP’s current curriculum.
