The public guides currently linked by GARP carry a June 2025 date. We rechecked the links and guide files on October 14, 2026; that verification date does not establish an official 2026 or 2027 syllabus. The direct Course Guide PDF is available even where an intermediate landing link fails. Follow the materials and updates assigned to your registration.

Regulatory references: identify the framework first
Use the Basel Framework to distinguish current standards from historical methods that remain in the FRR learning scope. The BCBS Charter explains the Committee’s role: it does not have supranational legal authority. A Basel standard, national implementing rule and individual bank policy are different sources.
Credit, market, operational, liquidity and interest-rate measures depend on framework generation and implementation. For instance, a historical operational-risk capital method is not interchangeable with the current standardized method. A learning example should state its framework rather than imply one universal legal requirement.
For a named jurisdiction’s obligations or effective dates, consult its regulator’s operative rule. Do not infer a legal deadline from a study-guide example or from an unsourced prep summary.
Confirm logistics directly
The GARP course page describes remote Pearson OnVUE or test-center delivery and a nine-month period from paid registration to pass. Check your authorization and provider instructions before booking. Calculator availability, the official number of answer options and a scored/unscored breakdown are not established in the public materials we reviewed; confirm them directly rather than infer them from our four-choice practice.
