Use Finance Prep to practise the financial-risk decisions behind a credit exposure, a market position, a control failure or a bank’s funding structure. The Financial Risk and Regulation (FRR) bank covers all four modules, with explanations for every answer choice.

The bank uses self-contained applied cases, four choices and one best answer. Try the 80-question free practice exam before continuing with topic sessions or fresh mixed sets. These are original independent practice questions, not official GARP questions, copied live-exam content or exam dumps. Mastery Exam Prep and Finance Prep are not affiliated with or endorsed by GARP.

The official facts come from GARP’s FRR course page and currently linked June 2025 Study Guide and Learning Objectives, checked October 14, 2026. A 2026 review date does not turn that guide into a new official edition. Use the materials assigned to your registration. The official number of answer options and any scored/unscored breakdown are not established in the public materials we checked; our four-option format is a practice design, not an exact testing-interface claim.

What you will practise

ModuleCandidate work
Credit riskAssess borrowers, exposure, loss severity, portfolio dependence and risk transfer.
Market riskInterpret instrument positions, valuation sensitivities, risk measures and model limitations.
Operational riskConnect events to controls, ownership, indicators, loss data and resilience.
Asset/liability managementCompare cash-flow gaps, liquidity, funding costs, capital and profitability.

A correct numerical answer needs the right interpretation. A low expected loss does not eliminate unexpected loss; a VaR estimate does not cap losses; a liquidity ratio does not establish survival under every stress. The cases ask you to use the facts that distinguish a defensible action from a plausible but incomplete one.

Use the Exam Blueprint to organize coverage, the Study Plan to structure practice, the Cheat Sheet for compact calculation checks, and Official Resources for GARP’s controlling materials.

Scores and access

GARP’s published 54/80 passing count applies to its official assessment. A Finance Prep percentage describes your practice attempt and does not predict the official result. Review errors and correct guesses against the official readings; see practice-score guidance .

An active Finance Prep subscription or fixed-length access pass includes this bank and other Finance Prep banks during its access period. Sign in with the same account on web and supported mobile devices. App preview allowances are separate from this public set. FRR has no separate flashcard collection at present.

The bank is live and will continue to expand or refine with learner usage, feedback and syllabus updates. Report unclear items in the app; updates appear in My reports. Use support for account, access or billing help.
