Follow GARP’s assigned citation and selected sections, not an arbitrary newer paper with a similar title. The crypto reading’s publication/version history and proposals need their dated context. Empirical associations and conditional scenarios are not guaranteed outcomes or universal causal effects.
Regulatory and source boundaries
Use the Basel Framework for authoritative Basel definitions, then check the jurisdiction and effective period. Historical market-risk and operational-capital frameworks remain useful assigned material; a Basel standard is not automatically current national law.
For model-risk supervision, Federal Reserve SR 26-2 is the April 2026 successor to SR 11-7 and SR 21-8. The assigned FDIC June 2017 reading remains a distinct historical assessment reference. Match the case’s date and framework before selecting a rule.
Authenticated 2026 errata and complete paid-book case text were not available for the public-source review. Check corrections in your GARP account; do not infer that inaccessible corrections do not exist. Our cases supply their necessary facts rather than reproduce proprietary official questions.
Use the Blueprint to organize scope, the Cheat Sheet for concise checks and the Study Plan to schedule reading and practice. These are independent preparation aids, not substitutes for the official curriculum.
