CSC1 Core Readiness Coverage and Exam Status

The new CSC1: Core Readiness groups securities learning into three areas. This page separates CSI’s announced program from Finance Prep’s independent practice choices.
Announced program
CSI’s new CSC page , checked September 27, 2026, describes Core Readiness as the knowledge component with a final exam. It lists five lessons in each of these areas:

What is still pending
The official public page currently says Coming Soon. It does not provide final-exam question count, duration, question format, passing score or topic percentages. Confirm those details directly with CSI when enrolment and assessment information is released.
Finance Prep currently uses single-answer multiple-choice questions across the three areas. Its approximate 30% Industry, 40% Technical and 30% Client balance is an editorial practice allocation, not an official blueprint. The 24-question preview uses 7, 10 and 7 questions respectively.

Use the exact title in your CSI enrolment record when choosing a bank. A shared CSC name does not make the programs interchangeable.
