Dated improvements

October 18, 2026 — Public practice set renewed

The 80-question public practice set now draws entirely from the reviewed and published renewal. It replaces 71 earlier public questions and retains 9 already reviewed question identities, with explanations for every choice and coverage of 55 curriculum sections.

This is a fixed companion set using one reviewed construction, rather than the complete interaction or construction mix of the official assessment. The app question total is unchanged.

October 15, 2026 — Clearer applied regulatory decisions

Refreshed 254 questions with clearer case evidence and an explanation for every answer choice. The review checks the relevant client, firm, duty and timing rather than treating a cautious-sounding response as automatically correct. We also clarified two existing explanations about nominee holdings and bare trusts. The bank remains at 2,286 questions, with no additions or removals.

The fixed public 80-question set includes nine refreshed questions. The topic guidance now distinguishes the current six-element CISI syllabus from the app’s familiar practice-topic groups.

June 1, 2026 — Refreshed UK regulation and professional integrity practice

Released 2,286 questions in place of the earlier 900-question set. The refresh strengthens practice in authorisation, supervision, financial crime, complaints, client categorisation, suitability, product governance and client-asset rules. Answer choices and explanations were also refined for clearer comparisons.

June 1, 2026 — Related-term explanations available

Added 2,201 related-term explanations for looking up the vocabulary used in the practice bank. The definitions and fuller explanations help learners review unfamiliar concepts alongside question explanations.

May 22, 2026 — Clearer question explanations

Revised wording in 8 questions so explanations focus more directly on regulatory decisions and their supporting reasoning. The bank remained at 900 questions.

April 12, 2026 — Question bank released

Released original UK Regulation practice questions with explained answers in Finance Prep. Learners can use the questions to practise the exam topics and review the reasoning after each attempt.
