CBV MQE Quick Reference

Compact CBV MQE (Chartered Business Valuator) quick reference for key terms, formulas, checks, and practice decisions.

Quick reference scope

Use this page as a compact reference while practising CBV MQE. It is not official CBV Institute material. It is a short checklist for valuation purpose, standard, approach, cash-flow assumption, rate, market multiple, asset adjustment, tax effect, discount or premium, conclusion support, and report communication.

CBV means Chartered Business Valuator. CBVs are Chartered Business Valuators, and the MQE is the Membership Qualification Examination used in that credential route.

  • Start with a focused drill if one topic is still weak.
  • Use timed mixed practice after topic mistakes become less frequent.
