Start with the licence requirements
The AIC Adjuster licence page is the primary source for the current Level 3 route. It distinguishes Level 1 exam requirements from the education, designation, experience, and application requirements published for Levels 2 and 3.
Use that page to verify:
- accepted licence standing for Alberta residents, non-residents, or applicants new to Alberta;
- the applicable Level 2 foundation;
- accepted Associate/Fellow or CIP/FCIP status;
- C-32 and the listed advanced claims-course requirement;
- the current 60-month experience window;
- recommendation, criminal-check, E&O, documentation, fee, and application requirements; and
- the process for proposed course equivalencies or unusual experience histories.
Do not infer eligibility from Finance Prep performance. AIC decides whether evidence satisfies the licence requirements.
Check the intended role
A personal Adjuster Level 3 licence and an Adjuster Level 3 Designated Representative role should not be treated as interchangeable.
Use AIC’s Designated Representative guidance when the intended position includes responsibility for an adjusting firm. AIC states that a business has a qualified DR for the applicable class and that the DR is responsible for management and supervision of the business.
That page is also the better source for:
- business and personal application relationships;
- Adjuster Level 3 DR application selection;
- firm licensing and E&O context;
- staff application approval procedures;
- replacing a DR; and
- questions about the corporate licence view or business account.

Contact the correct authority
Contact AIC when the answer could affect eligibility, equivalency, application status, licence class, DR status, business licensing, E&O compliance, fees, or required documentation. Save the response with your application records when it resolves a material route question.
Finance Prep support can help with app access, sign-in, billing, question-bank navigation, or a reported practice-content issue. It cannot interpret AIC requirements or approve a licence application.
Independent-practice boundary
Finance Prep provides original licensing-readiness and senior claims-practice questions. It is independent from AIC and does not publish official AIC questions, copied live-assessment content, or exam dumps.
Use official sources for the licence decision. Use Finance Prep to test whether you can identify the role, issue, evidence, authority, control, and next step in senior claims scenarios.
