Start with the Adjuster licence page
The AIC Adjuster licence page is the primary source for the Level 2 route. It currently describes Adjuster Level 2 as a licence qualification based on prior status, experience, specified coursework, firm recommendation, application controls, business E&O coverage, and Level 3 supervision. It does not describe a separate Adjuster Level 2 examination.
That distinction changes how to use Finance Prep: the 810-question bank is licensing-readiness and supervised-practice support. It is not an official exam simulator and does not replace qualification evidence or an AIC application decision.
What each official link answers
| Official page | Use it to verify |
|---|---|
| Adjuster licence requirements | Resident and non-resident Level 2 pathways, experience, coursework, recommendation, application requirements, E&O, supervision, and reports |
| Exam prerequisites and preparation | Which AIC routes have exams or education prerequisites and what AIC publishes for exam preparation |
| Applying for a licence FAQ | Application accounts, certificate classes, criminal checks, sponsorship, status, and common application questions |
| Contact AIC | The correct AIC team for licensing, exam, compliance, Designated Representative, agency, or adjusting-firm questions |
Questions to resolve before relying on practice
| Question | Why it belongs with AIC |
|---|---|
| Does my Level 1 status or out-of-province licence satisfy the current route? | Equivalency and status are official eligibility decisions. |
| Does my experience meet the consecutive claims-adjusting requirement? | A question bank cannot validate employment evidence. |
| Do my six Insurance Institute courses qualify, or are my courses equivalent? | AIC controls the accepted route and supporting documents. |
| What criminal check, E&O evidence, recommendation, or application timing applies? | These requirements can change and depend on the application facts. |
| How must Level 3 supervision and countersignature be documented? | The official requirement controls the firm’s supervision process. |
| What fees or processing steps apply now? | Administrative details are time-sensitive. |
Contact routing
AIC’s contact page lists separate addresses for exam, licensing, compliance, and corporate licensing questions. Use the licensing contact for individual Level 2 eligibility and application questions. Use the corporate-licensing contact for Designated Representative, agency, or adjusting-firm questions.
Do not send personal records, criminal-check documents, medical information, or claim-file material to Finance Prep. Mastery Exam Prep cannot assess licence eligibility or act for AIC.

Finance Prep is independent from the Alberta Insurance Council. Its questions and explanations are original practice material, not official AIC questions, copied assessment content, or exam dumps.
